Vendor FAQs

Got a question?  We’re here to help.

  • What are the Required Documentation to Vend at Harambee events and festival

    Indoor events produced by Harambee only require that Vendors fill out Vendor Application with the Payment Amount.


    When events are outdoors, where food is sold the City of Kingston has requirments for Vending at public events. The Vendor Application form provides moe information about requirements.

  • How much Booth Space does Harambee provide

    Generally Vendor Booth space allocation for outdoor events is 10x10.  Food Trucks is 10x20 . Please indicate your the type  of Vending on the Vendor Application.


    Some of Harambee events are located indoors and provides space for Vendor Tables and Chairs only.

  • Do I need to bring my own Tables and Chairs?

    Yes, all Vendors must provide their own Tables and Chairs at Harambee Kingston NY events and booths. Indoor events do not include Booths or Tents.

  • Will Vendors have designated Parking and Early Load-In location

    Yes, each event will have secheduled load-in times and designation parking.  Load-In and Booth Set Up must be set 1hr prior to event time. 


    Load-In Time will be provided for each event and upon recieiving Vendor Application and Registration Fee payment.

  • Will the event location have electricity available for Vendors?

    No, Harambee Kingston NY can not provide or confirm that Vendors can use eletricity at outdoor public events.  Vendors must provide their own generator, extention cords with surge protector if needed.


    Electricty may be available at indoor venues, but can not be gaurenteed. 

  • What type of Payment Methods do you accept?

    Payment methods for Food and Craft Vendors can be paid by Check, Money Order or by Harambee Kingston NY Secure Pay Pal (Donate Button)Application and Payment must be done 2 weeks prior to the event date to insure your participation. 


    Information Only Vendors must also complete Vendor Application, but does not have to pay for the Booth Space.

  • Event Closing Requirements

    All Vendors and Food Trucks are responsible for their area clean up, trash and recycling disposal.  A designated area will be provided for trash disposal, recyclables and food waste.
